just came across this and just had to facepalm, sigh, then post it, because its just so fucking counterintuitive...
transformers 3 related btw, as if you couldnt guess from the title.

but what gets me is that its a fucking transformers film... WITH LESS EMPHASIS ON THE FUCKING ROBOTS!!!! makes me want to buy a hat just so that i can eat it. he couldnt have missed the fucking point harder if he aimed in completely the opposite direction, and the point was located at the bottom of the ocean and it was surrounded by sharks. hungry ones. with big fucking teeth.

Who the fuck told him that we want MORE bad teen romantic drama!? Here's an idea - remove the human actors and just focus on the actual "heroes" of the movie - Optimus and his crew. Well, maybe without the wigger-talking cars. That just leaves a very bad taste in anyones mouth. Ugh.

i think thats why i thought transformers 2 was a massive improvement over the first. way more robot on robot action  lots more action sequences. i mean there were hardly any robots in the first film... and now he wants even less than that.

how was the first one better?
transformers 1 had a shitty story, every bit as shitty as the second
transfromers 1 had shitty dialog, same as the second
transformers 1 had fucking horrible characters and acting, same as the second
transformers 1 had LESS robots and LESS action than the second one, though, making the second film far better.
i mean really, the only difference between the 2 films are the amount of robots and action, and in a TRANSFORMERS movie, the one with the most TRANSFORMERS action in the film, wins

Isabel Lucas was much hotter than Fox in the second. It seems in between the movies Fox has turned from a fox with an annoying voice to a skank ho ugly bitch with an annoying voice.

I know that there is no sense in arguing with you chiv but ->
Transformers 1 story and telling compared to Transformers 2 was like Shakespear vs. Boll.
(And Transformers was week in this one).
While it had less CGI, it was amazing. Transformers 2 just overdid it. You can see it at all those retarded fuck shit they tried to pack in the movie. Michael Bay -> fucking the frame.
Dialogues again, Transformers 1 was okish, but 2 was just plain dumb. That whole scene where his mother took drugs? CHEAP! Everything that led to this scene and everything that was involved in that part of the movie was CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP CRAP!
After 1 hour into transformers 2 I stopped watching and turned on TV! <- Death penalty for any movie!
Later on I was bored and continued... but the movie was still the same shit as before.
Final conclusion, Transformers 1 had it's moments and while it could have been a lot better, it surely deserves 7.5/10 (and thats pretty much for a dumb action flick, but it was entertaining).
Transformers 2 on the other hand does not deserve anything more than 3/10 ... Such a piece of shit. And I didn't find the CGI in the second THAT good compared to the first one.
Bigger = better ? No. just fail.
The thing T3 needs more than anything else: Mature.

Well, there will be a lot of Marvel movies coming in the following years. Iron Man 2, maybe another Hulk, then Thor, Nick Fury, The Avangers (which will have Fury, Stark, etc). Samuel Jackson has signed a huge contract with Marvel, and will appear in most upcoming movies as Nick Fury.

wrong wrong wrong wrong... how was the dialog in transformers 'okay' by ANY standard? it was every bit as idiotic and infantile as its sequel.
and the story?! are you defending the first ones STORY over the second? it was about nu-indy trying to get some pussy. that was IT. megatron was in there somewhere for 5 MINUTES grumbling about taking over the world, and optimus slapped him around for about 2 minutes... a couple of gangsta robots showed up and shot a couple of missiles, then one of the gangsta robots got ripped in half. the end.
to call that 'better' than the equally as idiotic second films story, is just silly. actually its worse, because the story in the second film at least featured and revolved around the robots we'd come to see... instead of revolving around one dudes quest to get laid.
transformer 1's cgi was every bit a clusterfuck as the sequel, when it got busy. it may have looked 'cleaner' at times than the VERY cluttered and messy sequel, but thats because there was hardly any robots in it, and with VERY little screen time. the cgi never got confusing because it was often slow and only featured 1 or 2 robots at a time, which was the whole problem with the film.
what the second film DID do right, was fill it with the actual robots we've come to see, and load it with battles.
it wasnt a great film by any stretch, im not saying it was. - but transformers sucked equally hard in BOTH films when it comes to story, dialog, cast, acting. the only difference was the amount of time spent on showing the robots, which makes the second film better.
i wouldnt have MINDED having less heavy emphasis on explosions and robots IF the story and everything else were decent. but they werent. and to call the first films story BETTER than the second one, is just plain freaking wrong.
so theoretically bay saying LESS transformers is something i MIGHT have been ok with, if i thought for a second he could make a mature GOOD film without resorting to over the top action. but he cant. so his decision is fucked.

While the first movie simply bored me and I just forced myself to watch it till the end, the second one manipulated certain feelings in me that no other movie ever did if I recall it right... During the second half I started feeling my mind being raped from all those pointless fights/ explosions/ screams / location changes... When the movie ended I felt mentally exhausted.
