Hi,i've actually own an 2008 (or 2009?) Wacom Bamboo Black..like this one but Small

I saw these new 2009/2010 Wacom Bamboo Black "Pen" and "Pen & Touch" ("Blue" edition,i dun need Extras..i already got Photoshop CS4 grinhurt)

http://www.wacom.eu/index2.asp?pid=294&lang=en&spid=1

..i was interested in this last one..i know it has TouchPad on the whole table to put ya fingers and zoom, rotate etc...

I was wondering if there's any differences in the Tablet's Size and it's "Active Area" size (Aka the area where you draw)..i mean,if it's bigger, more space to move,etc...

Anyways,if it's bigger than mine overall or better, would you guys suggest me to upgrade it or keep mine till it goes KA-BOOOOOOOM ?

Note that i mainly use the tablet for drawing pics on Photoshop CS4,then illustrator CS4 then PSCS4 again..no Photo editing or other SH*T

the active areas are the same, so as long as you're not into the touch feature and don't mind the (imo) shitty button layout, i'd suggest you keep your old tablet. save the money and upgrade to an intuos later (3 series should be pretty cheap right now and if you draw a lot, you're gonna love it)

My missus paints on a Wacom Bamboo Fun that's she had for years, and she's buying an Intuos 4 in a couple weeks.

Yeah, too bloody much... but she wants it and I promised her one for Christmas <3 (She's buying it, but I'm paying for it) Should be around 3100kr for the Medium one, which is what she wants.

3058kr ... £322. Jesus Ouch.

look around a bit more, i got my intuos4 large/a4 for a bit more than 300 euros a few weeks after the launch last year.

but hey, don't worry so much about the price - she'll have fun with that thing for the next 10 years and the only way to break one is to smash it with a hammer Wink
