I have even bigger proof of Christian bigotry. We are having presidential elections today, and one of the candidate is a major thief (my city's major, who has brought it to his knees, we pay the biggest taxes, biggest rents, bills ect.) has more than 20 major criminal activities, but gives a lot of money to the church, he is a total redneck who is embarrassing himself wherever he goes. The oder is uni professor, and an educated man, well spoken, agnostic. Both have been in communist party back in Yugoslavia, and just because this first has given massive amounts of money to the church has their vote. Every day during the presidential campaign church has been saying how the believers should vote for the thief because the other one is 'communist', and a non believer.
The sad thing is that uneducated fools (and let's just say that Croatia has ~8% of people with academic degree) will vote for him just because those hypocrite bastards from church want more money...

He has no obligation to marry her. If he didn't enjoy the experience, he can case her aside. The woman is then a whore and must be stoned for whoredom.
If she somehow escapes that fate, and the family fails to kill her as Honor dictates, she can never be married because she is not a virgin.

A rapist probably won't be a christian, true or otherwise, so if your daughter is raped by, say, a muslim or wiccan or atheist, would you still insist she marry him?
