We have a Muslim Student Union full of crackpots here. Apparently they've not only managed to get the attention of the FBI by donating to Hamas, but made national headlines (If FOX news counts as that) by flaunting their professional rhetorical skills (see clip).

Well, at least they keep things interesting around here.

It was funny to watch how the disruptive side was heckled and provoced even more by the other side...

Ohh and how a proffesor just kept telling his students "you're failing your class because of this" or something like that.

My favorite line was at the end "you are failing your exams"?!?

So they will be dismissed of their exams because they made use of their free speech rights? (one of the most elevated and protected aspects of democracy)

Oh right, free speech is only allowed unless it doesn't touch several issues, namely Israel....

Very Happy

Free speech or not, the road to burning American flags in those campuses and establishing terror cells is a short one for those students .
The problem should be addressed properly.

As a first person witness I believe tainted knows the nature of those students, and what I'm talking here about.

That's what would've been done to them if they did the same in Iran or syria, regimes whose interests they try to push forward.

I think hes trying to say that your enemy is your (and ours also) capitalist governments.

Everyone here knows by now that I do not abide or respect any sort of religious views or standpoints, in fact I despise them deeply.

But the subject at discussion in that video was the subject of Israel, and about this subject those muslim guys were the voice of truth and reason in that conference, since the creation of Israel, Palestine has always been the victim, not the other way around, the U.S. help the last handful of Jews that survived Hitlers campaign to settle on the "promised land" but that land is and always has been Palestine, in my view there is absolutely no difference between the formation of Israel and Hitlers invasion of Europe.

They were both aggressive occupations of lands that belong to another.

The "voice of truth and reason" could have at least waited til the debate section of the night before imposing their opinions on others.

Umm, I must've skipped the part where Israel butchered millions of civilians.

Using it as toilet paper still renders it readable!!

The only way is erase every single religious word ever written or published, and kill everyone who has ever read it and took it into consideration.

University is an place of culture, were certain standards must be kept.
Just like standing in the middle of a lecture, shouting at the professor is unacceptable, so is such behavior.
The case here isn't Israel (and sorry for not commenting on the "Israel butcher people in Gaza like the nazis did", since that's simply ridiculous and I know you still got an inferiority complex after your last ban which also had something to do with nazis), but about the Muslim student unions behaving in the universities like in a football game advocating terror and their awkward beliefs through threats, violence and inappropriate behaviour.
One needs to be a serious useful idiot to turn a blind eye on those groups and shout like a donkey "OMG, free speech", whenever they're put in their rightful place.

What Israel has done in Gaza is inexcusable, but it is nowhere near the same magnitude of evil that Nazi Germany was. You shouldn't compare the two.

So you're crying over tens of thousands (just using your number, any connection to the reality is just a coincidence) of innocent gazans butchered by the zionazis, while at the same time saying that all the religious people should be killed (no butchered ofc, just killed)... And how many gazans that would be? One million?

I was making a joke related to the picture post!

I do not promote or abide to the notion of genocide, even towards religious people that in my view are nothing more than undeserving visceral subhumans holding mankind progress from advancing.

- Nazi Germany kills 6 million jews and other countless ethnic minorities - they're hated worldwide because of it.

- The U.S. firebombs Dresden, Tokyo - what a glorious event...

- The U.S. nukes 2 cities full of civilians, killing 300.000 people instantly and countless more die in the aftermath due to radiation poising and other malformations due to radiation exposure - what a glorious day, they ended the war.

- The U.S. influenced by their distorted religious views decides to help the last remaining jews settling in the promised land, those who are already there just have to move aside.. - Israel legend becomes fulfilled...

Wrong! University is a place to learn and question that which you have learnt because if you don't then you are only being brainwashed. Wasn't it student protests that turned the tide of public opinion against the Vietnam war which is today considered by all to be a futile and shameful war. You do not start bowing down to people you do not agree with just because their assess are being kissed by the university deans.

Having said that, the form that the protest took was pathetic and ended up gaining sympathy for the ambassador. Not that anyone of those skull-caps would have stood-up to what the man represents or even questioned the policies.

You are absolutely right.

On the Vietnam issue however, I really don't think that everyone is convinced that Vietnam was a mistake, I bet there are still a few millions of americans that believe the Vietnam war was the righteous thing to do.
