Try QuickSFV and just delete the *.sfv file ending in the registry so windows will associate QuickSFV after the install.

I just trashed hkSFV because of it beeing abandoned for a very long time, together with lots of irritating bugs. I also trashed FlashFXP and use FTPrush both for downloading and sfv checking. This client is truly the best of them all.
