A horror title by Marvelous Entertainment, this game begins when the body of a young girl named Anna Graham is found one particularly rainy morning in the woods outside the town of Rainy Woods. This sends the town into panic. Has the legendary Raincoat Killer returned? To investigate, the FBI has sent agent David Young Henning to the town to investigate. He's not alone, though, as three peacekeepers from the town support David as he attempts to solve the case. David can also turn to Jeter for advice. Only problem is, Jeter is a person who exists only in David's mind...
Taking control of David (and his split-personality character Jeter), you find yourself placed in a recreation of a classic American west town, right down to stoplights and paved roads. The game takes place in a eight kilometer squared sandbox world that features weather and time-based changes. You're free to move through the town as you see fit. In addition to walking, you also have access to a car. As you investigate the case, you'll learn that there's something not exactly human behind it all. David is thankfully skilled with the weapons. You'll end up using guns and swords as you face off against creatures who stalk the night.
The game puts players in the role of a young FBI agent named David Young Henning who is investigating a murder outside the fictional American town of Rainy Woods. David happens to have an alternate personality, Jeter, which the player can control at certain points in the game. The player will be able to cover the town's 8 kilometer diameter by foot or by car, and the game will also feature a day-and-night system with weather changes that will affect the visuals.

Why? Heck, I'm English so it doesn't apply to me (damn 360 region locks) but why not publish in the largest gaming continent on Earth? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot >_<

This is an action-horror game in which players assume the role of a detective investigating a series of strange murders in a small town. Players examine crime scenes, interview townspeople and suspects, and occasionally use guns, knives, and metal pipes to battle zombie-like creatures. One humanoid-like monster (naked, but with no genitalia or nipples) crawls along walls and can be killed by using a submachine gun. In one flashback sequence, players are able to control the villain (the Raincoat Killer) as he uses an axe to kill the townsfolk—toxic gas has left them in a deranged state; the grainy black-and-white sequence depicts the townsfolk emitting red blood-spurts when hit, as their bodies disappear.
Graphic depictions are presented during investigations of crime scenes, where players sometimes discover the victims: a woman is found tied to a tree with her abdomen sliced open—blood surrounds the open wound (hair partially obscures her breasts); another woman is strung up by wires in a shower, covered with blood, and strangled by an elaborate trap; and a "profile"-montage depicts still-frame images of a struggle between killer and victim amid sounds of crying and desperate pleas (e.g., "stop, please . . . I swear . . . I won't tell anyone . . ."). A couple of cutscenes are intense as well, depicting suicides via gunshots to the head. The dialogue contains mild sexual innuendo (e.g., a woman at a gas station says, "Let me know if you want me to pump it") and more direct commentary about sex: "She'll scr*w anyone" and "Oh, I sleep with anyone I wish. Anyone I prefer to sleep with . . . I could sleep with you, if you'd like." |

yeah this was a NTSC-J and PAL only game and now suddenly they go full region lock NTSC ... WTF???!!! and the most wtf was when the producers claimed this game will be Region-Free

Techicanlly its look a little poor, but if the story is good and the gameplay is fun it should be a winner
