I was hoping someone could help me with the install of this game....

I ran the installer (steam...) and it started fine. I created a folder in my C drive for the installation. Waited the nearly 20 min install (switching b/n DVD parts).

Install ended. I found the crack and copied the files....but I don't know where to paste them. The folder I created for the install has nothing in it. I did a search on my cpu and the game installed in the users/local/virtualstore/program files folder.

I went into that folder...and there are no files to overwrite with the crack ones. I went thru the redist folder and ever other one...no exe file to overwrite.

I then tried to paste the crack files into the main folder...but they won't run.

Really confused....I usually know what I am doing...but this one has me stumped and the NFO mentions nothing about it.

Any help is appreciated.

More information is needed, like what release did you install, razor or reloaded?
I could not get razor to install due to error data file missing.

Reloaded version works fine. It allows you to pick install directory. Once it is done installed, copy crack files over (use razer steam crack file instead)

I would delete that install folder you made and re-install and make sure you pick the directory.

Its the Reloaded version (2 DVDs). I tried to choose the install directory...I made a specific new folder called "aliens" in my C: program files folder. But the game did not install there...its in the virtual storage folder in my user directory. I did not choose it.

There are no files that can be overwritten in that folder either. I have no idea where to find the files which the cracked ones overwrite.

Really weird. The install took nearly 20 mins too. hate to do that all over again.

Where are the crack files located in the AvP folder?
