And the hilarious thing is, this game is supposed to be a major selling point for ATI and DX11. Laughing

I can't even get TO the game. If I hit a key during the cutscenes, CTD, if I wait through the cutscenes up to the gameplay CTD

For the cracked version it is recommended to use 48 Khz although 24-bit should still be OK for sound frequency, if that's already covered it could be driver related, cracked version should work just fine, try AvP.exe directly if you use the launcher or similar perhaps?

EDIT: Needs the DirectX August 2009 version installed as well (After that there's Nov 2009 and now February 2010 versions.) and VC++ 2005 although Sp1 might work better but it shouldn't matter.

BIK movies so not codec related as it's handled by BIK32.dll (Or what it's name was) movies are around 720P format though monitor movies and similar are around 320x200 or what it's called. (VCD?)

I also have some the CTD porblem in AVP. only in my case I can't even play in DX9 mode lol... Gonna try and install the game again tonight and use the dx provided in the DVD to see if it matters...
I was really hopping to test the game to see if it's wotrh the €25 I can get it for.
