Packard Bell Dot m/a Netbook AMD L110
Pretty nice deal; 2495 NOK. The processor is a little weak, gfx chipset is decent, and its got 2gb ram, but the most important thing is the 6 cells battery. Im not after the performance

Anyway, no way in hell im gonna use OEM Vista premium POS, so gonna install w7 via USB DVD drive (worked for a friend of mine).
Just found it a little worrying that they haven't made all the drivers for w7 yet.

Should I worry? Only vista Chipset drivers and gfx for example :/

i think those vista drivers will work fine on 7... i bought from work some couple years old laptop which was "designed for Windows XP"... Every XP driver works flawlessy on windows 7.

Vista drivers work on Windows 7 just fine, and in most cases XP drivers as well. The only exception are graphics drivers as far as I know Smile

And yeah, I installed Windows 7 through a USB DVD drive as well on my MSI x340, works perfectly fine =]
