make sure your vidcard is supported. I have another problem. at start of game the vine that curls up and down i press J to do the time thing, but the vine remains going non-stop. I viewed walkthroughs and that is what you are suppose to do but it doesn't work, it just keeps going up and down curling and whacking, any ideas?

This game should be NUKED !!!for not removed triggers , you can't manipulate time and pass though the evil roots , or even stop those spinning signposts

another fuck up from Vitality

waiting for a crack fix

Anyone try the exe on gamecopyworld? It's too bad cys the game is beautifully designed and I looked forward to the rest. Also another issue is even though I set the control keys, if I redraft the game (close reopen), my settings are reset back to default. I hope they make a new crack exe soon thus stinks Sad

This game has the new version of SecuROM 7.41.0004 and SecuROM is known for altering gameplay mechanics to make it unplayable.
After about 5 mins in you have to freeze a branch to allow passge but it freezes for a fraction of a second, also the rabbit hops very slowly.

so where is the proper fix?

Bad port. Reason=NO MOUSE SUPPORT

Console programmers STILL cant code a decent camera, which is problematic in the title, because gamepads suck for 1st and 3rd person games. Though with no mouse support I was forced to use one anyway. Go figure.

Also a big problem is the selection system for the special powers making combat very frustrating at times.

This can be a really fun title if you can get past its shortcomings, but it WILL piss you off at times.

VIT crack is bunk. RLD crack works but I dont think it actually saved my option settings until I had actually made a save point in the game. Before that restarting the game and all options were default.

the installed desktop shortcut doesnt work (I think it launches secu somehow) so make your own.

Cheers

that's right the install shortcut don't work, just make a new one and it's fine. as they said the game is buggy i don't think it's RELOAD fault.

Alice 2: Madness Returns
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/ea-announces-alice-madness-returns
(I suppose it makes for easy sequels, "She went crazy again." or something like that, EA does yet another sequel, haha, not that some of their games are bad or anything but I didn't think this game sold all that well and was mostly to tie in with the movie, perhaps there's a new movie as well then?)

EDIT: Aha so the thread was in the technical section, only thread in the PC games section was for the American McGee Alice and it's ongoing development on the sequel that's planned but it has nothing to do with this Alice aside from the child story or what it's based on originally.

EDIT: Ah I'm tired or something or confused or something, this is the McGee game?

Quote:

EA has confirmed the title of American McGee's new game as Alice: Madness Returns.

It's in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and will be released next year.
...
Rest of article here, short announcement blurb basically.

EDIT: Come to think of it. (And "toasted" is a bit of a crude way to say it, haha.)

Quote:

We pick-up our heroine after a decade confined to an asylum for the insane. She's off to find out what happened to her toasted family and work out why she's a bit bonkers.

Wasn't that explained in Alice 1, split personality or something right?
(Heroine is a nice thing to mention as well, perhaps that explain why she's a bit odd, heh, just playing with words of course I know that it refers to her as the female protagonist or "hero" then again "We pick up our heroine after a decade" could also explain it.)
