TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."

all these hackers coming out of the woodwork, whats the deal? what are they accomplishing attacking companies? got an email from codemasters earlier.

To be honest, I'm getting kind of tired of these hacking crusades right now. It's one thing to attack Sony, who themselves started this war against hackers, but Epic? Codemasters? Eidos? That's just blegh... not to mention leaking the databases of the customers/consumers. There's just no need for that :\

I would pay them 1000$ via PayPal if they'd hack and leak the Microsoft Live database, and cause a 2 months outage . Even if i'd eat bread with water for 1 month i would still pay them 1000$ for doing that .

i've bought mohw :derp: / FPS of the year!
No.

Just shows how lackluster their database security seems to be.
If all the hackers would do is just show them their fuck ups I'd be ok with it. But publishing that info or using it for some kind of fraud is just... I can't even think of a proper word for that.

Now you're just arguing semantics. Getting fucked in the ass with a broom stale is an "improvement" over getting stabbed in the eye with a fork

I wouldn't pay them anything but it would be entertaining to see this happening.

At least some of the people, who were allegedly behind the sony attack have been caught in Spain, remains to be seen if it was really them, or only them, but this is a good step.
"pretty crazy. everyone is getting hacked, sony and now epic games. it sounds pretty weird for them to do that. i don't think epic games has done anything for them to deserve this."
Oh really? How about killing UT in favor of Steroids of War?
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
you forgot s2, company known for Hon, which was almost unplayable for couple weeks during mass attacks and shit , i dont rly care when some " database " noone gives a shit gets broken, but when online game you and others enjoy gets broken.. then its pissing me off
I forgot nothing, servers going down or having issues has nothing to do with stealing personal data and then leaking it online. I don't give a fuck what the company has done wrong, the hackers are more in the wrong for attacking innocents; namely us.

do you really care if your named gets leaked online, if you credit card number which means totally 0 or your account number gets leaked online which again means nothing,
or the address you live in gets leaked?
sometimes i wonder if you guys live in dark ages, all of that information been available to public since 1990 with first phone book.. your number, address, name , apart from credit card information which isnt much of information, since it cant be used anyway, and any back will backtrack all charges even if somehow it gets used
Huh? Speak for yourfuckingself, I've already lost money thanks to the Sony hackers - as has Epsilon. We've both had our CC details leaked and abused.
:O Really? I didn't know that. Darn... But didn't the bank just cancel your credit card and issue you a new one and just refund your cash? Since it's not your fault. At least that's the law in the US. If you own the card and it aint' lost and someone else abuses your info and spends like 500$, bank won't charge you anything or take any cash from you.
I've had to contact my bank and cancel my card, which is a real kick in the fucking teeth for me seeing as how my bank is several hundred miles away. I'll no doubt get a refund of the money, but only once they've "finished their investigation" Luckily for me it was less than £100, the sum of what I had in my account at the time, but the fact still remains; it's a real kick in the teeth and idiots like Smikis playing it off as if it's inconsequential really piss me the fuck off.
