Wargaming today released a brand-new cinematic for its highly anticipated naval action MMO, World of Warships. The video release marks the company’s first debut of the title, which will take E3 attendees into an immersive theater experience at Wargaming’s booth (#601 South Hall). In the demos, which will take place one per hour, attendees will be placed in the middle of the action in intense naval engagements and deadly aircraft strafing runs.\
Well, World of Tanks is an enjoyable timewaster, but World of Warplanes is gearing up to be a short sidenote next to War Thunder. In terms of gameplay, I guess piloting a ship and a tank is much closer to each other than either is to piloting a plane so they have a bit of an advantage there. The most we've seen from the WT ground and naval combat are some neat looking screenshots, but not much else.
Showing a video without any actual in-game footage is even less informative that those. Looks great but doesn't tell a thing about the game itself.
Also, that erupting volcano on the island is hilariously derp. AWESHUM!
this is one the same level as saying facebook games are good and zynga is awesome, open your eyes , wargaming games are extremly simplistic, broken and just straight bad
A cinematic trailer of an MMO - about as useful as being gifted with a shovel while floating out in the middle of the fucking Atlantic Ocean!
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I heard they'll do some revealing at gamescon. Given that ships should be more like tanks as opposed to planes, this just might be the one I've been waiting for.
At least until WT gets its own navy branch added. There at least the different machines can play on the same map.
Several seem to have broken the NDA and Wargaming wants $100000 fine. They also intend to sue all who helped to share the leaked gameplay video
Spoiler:
Ladies and gentlemen,
There have been some discussions going on regarding the information leaked from the alpha test, specifically about the gameplay videos recently uploaded to YouTube.
The authors of those videos have put lots of effort in hiding their identity. However, using the tools we have at our disposal and all of the information visible in the video, we were able to find these NDA violators. Still, their nicknames or any other personal information won't be disclosed.
These users have been removed from the Alpha Test. Moreover, their cases, including personal data and passport scans, have been sent to our legal department. We would like to remind all of you that the Non-Disclosure Agreement signed by every single alpha tester sets a $100000 fine for such actions.
We've also had discussions with some of the websites which did not initially delete the leaked content or helped to distribute it.
We would also like to explain why exactly we have such an attitude towards gameplay videos and why we've not yet shown it ourselves.
At this moment the World of Warships project is in Alpha stage. During this period we try out and test a lot of different concepts. We also shape the game basing on feedback we receive from alpha testers. Sometimes the changes we make to the game are really fundamental. Some features which seemed to be the basics end up removed, while those which seemed impossible to be added to the game are actually implemented. In order not to create false expectations we hide this process behind the walls of the NDA. Alpha testers adapt to the changes over and over while writing good amounts of feedback even on the smallest features. This is why we value them and their help a lot, and it is also why alpha testing is more about working than having fun.
Also, we hope you agree that an unfinished, buggy product will most probably disappoint any player, and we, being developers and publishers, want to meet your expectations and create a good game.
On the other hand, we do show and tell you about those parts of the game where we believe the quality is high enough, even if they may still change by the Open Beta Test stage.
In the end we'd like to thank you for your understanding and patience.
P.S. We have also decided to stop working with an alpha tester, who posted a screenshot of a discussion from the closed forum section in the comments of a LiveJournal blog post. Nevertheless, we are prepared to welcome him back in closed beta test.
Tried it some days ago...its good looking, but the gameplay was nothing for me.
It could be that the others were more experienced - but I fired into the side of some boat several times and it just turned around and totally destroyed me using very few shots.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
