Sorry I should not be posting one line gripes. The installer tries to patch to 1.03 and then fails, so I put back the original exe file and try again, it goes a lil further then fails again. Anyone else have this problem?

I even attempted a clean install and it failed. Did anyone have luck or is Razor just messing up here?

Had the same problem with the installer. But somebody posted in the other thread that you should run the setup.exe in win98 or winxp compatiblity mode. Worked for me.
Enthoo Evolv ATX TG // Asus Prime x370 // Ryzen 1700 // Gainward GTX 1080 // 16GB DDR4-3200

I flagged the setup.exe as win2k compatibility mode and then ran the setup.exe and it did the full install. I even tested it and it plays well.
Thank You for the help.
On a lighter note, you think Razor would have noticed this and put it in the notes. I know they are giving us something for free, but still. Skidrow does a much better job at testing releases.

And you reached this conclusion via what method? Checked their process or made the ratio of needed propers to releases?
And it's tragic that Razor did not have 100 computers with different configurations and a QA team to identify this problem and warn you in the NFO... You should go ahead and file a complaint and in the future only download from Skidrow. Vote with your bandwidth!

Look prick, I have nothing against Razor, it's just that they throw out releases that make you have to bend over backwards to make work. For example Modern Warfare II, they did a steam crack/workaround when Skidrow released a proper they said it was not even needed.

What attitude? Caliing someone a prick, or being upset and expressing my opinion about Razor 1911. I am serious, not sure what I did to get a warning.
