Hi, so I have this problem with my computer when I wanna start it up.
So, all of my computer's wires (central processing unit, 5.1 sound system, monitor) are plugged into a power strip (like this one http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/7153/prizacuprotectiegembird.jpg ). Whenever I leave from my computer for a longer period of time I shut it down and also switch off the power strip. The problem is that when I want to start the computer, after I switch the power strip on, the computer won't start, and I usually have to wait around 1-2 minutes, before it will really start. I'm thinking it may be something electrical either with the computer power supply or the computer case.
why are u turnig off the socket adapter? Dont bother leave it on, just use one thats got good protection circuit, even one that protects against spikes is better... My pc is only ever turned off via shutdown on OS and monitors turned off thats enough for anyone..
