1.09 GB for a game out of 2010 seems kinda low tbh lol

it's a multiplayer only shooter so it probably does not include FMV or voiceovers, so the size is fine.

And 1.09GB is exactly the size of the D2D download and SGR is not a scene group but simply stands for StarGate Resistance. Game is out but no scene release yet. Seems to be fun for a short while but lacks of depth, only 3 maps...

Out on Steam now, might increase chances for a scene (Or rip.) release perhaps?

(Didn't find the previous release aside from a few mentions of it on various obscure sites, perhaps it works just fine as well.)

Bankrupt Cheyenne offloads Stargate shooter:
Quote: | Bankrupt US developer Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment has called in the receivers and offloaded its shooter, Stargate: Resistance to new start-up Fresh Start Studios.
Fresh Start, which has been set up by Cheyenne shareholders, acquired the game for $100,000 and has $200,000 to continue to run the online game, which launched in February.
Cheyenne currently has no employees and is crippled with debt – it owes staff over $1.1 million in wages, $3 million in taxes, $2 million to creditors, is being sued for over $10 million, and filed for bankruptcy protection in February.
The studio was working on a massively multiplayer game based on the Stargate series at the time it went bust. |

Yeah, because all those employees with no wages to feed their families added to the misery of the company that went under, as well as the shareholders losing their investments is fucking HILARIOUS.

yes it is fucking hillarious " it owes staff over $1.1 million in wages"
for anything to get that bad, and the staff not be aware and stick it out for, what shit must be fair amount of time for that amount, is anything but crazy.... Id of left ages ago and grabbed a job available before the masses were all after the jobs due to being laid off all at once..
3 million in taxes? fuck sake, do it right first time or not at all isnt it?

You reckon the staff knew they weren't going to get paid and stuck with the company? If that is the case, perhaps they couldn't quit due to contractual obligations, but I find it hard to believe they were aware of the impending collapse and didn't do anything about it. I feel sorry for them either way, because now they are jobless and aren't getting paid.
The directors probably deserve your contempt for letting the company slide, but the average Joe in the office getting shafted is far from hilarious. It's pretty damn fucking sad. a LOL just ain't fair.
Jus' sayin.

it happens face it, happened to me before twice actually, company is paying u they start delaying ur pay a bit, rumors spread, nobody is really sure, ur told everything is fine and that ull get ur next mnths pay in a week they just need time to sort some problematic finances with the company.. dont worry stick to the same quality work your doing.. etc etc..
then out the blue you get a sorry were bankrupt further info will be available to you later next mnth when liquidation starts and you will get more information in the post from those wrapping up the company..
so yeah i do reckon, cause buisness is rutheless, and use the staff to the end no matter who u work for....
its not so much knowing and staying its about the job factor of holding out on hope through worry and concern when nobody is really telling you the truth,,. those with bit of brain etc and more worldy would see it coming im sure though..
