this some shitty korean f2p game or some 72 year old game thats gone f2p because no one plays it anymore? i 'could' click the link and find out for myself but... meh... my mouse is like waaaaaaaay on the other side of the table, and you know how it is....

no its actually a good mmo if u can call it that, if u used to be or are into dungeon running type games, or dice types i guess, its not really huge free roaming, most of it is done via dungeon play...
its turbine they make a fairly good game normaly, they are also the ones that made asherons call, lord of the rings online also..
you can play fine in this even if u dont buy anything from store they do have that btw, but its not as shitty as f2p korean stores.. you can earn all u can get in the store if u just play harder for it instead.. 
personaly id rather re-sub to AoC than play this though..

ill never ever play a p2p game. i just dont believe in the principle... are there AoC private servers and are they any good? worth looking into?

Dont believe there are any AoC private servers no... I could be wrong but recently read some banter about it stating so and if there was they would go to them lol..
Still lots of issues with AoC though and the new expansion is supposed to deal with anything of old but u know how that story goes lol....
There is still not a real good mmo that I would stick to day in day out really, eve online is about as close to it as I can imagine right now, Aoc for its looks and fun blood spilling gfx/modeling.

i tried that aion one. i dunno... retail 'might' be fun, but private servers... eh... best part about the game was the face/body modeling feature

lols, yeah its good there i guess, but even that gets old and u realise its not really that deep.
Aion would be ok for me if it didnt have all those asian screams and voices in them, and the women when they heal and rest sound like this "Imtakinahpiza" yes it sounds like (go on listen to it ingame) like she says "im taking a piss ja" she even squats ffs lol,,
Anyhow I need a new mmo fix - everything getting a bit samey.... needs new blood and ideas and a bit or bravery going on to release something not mainstream..
