Is there such a chance if you run "pirated" PS3 games? I really don't know.

Well see that's the thing... you can't GET onto PSN now, not if you're running pirated games because to run them means you need Jailbreak, and that only works on 3.41. You can't connect to PSN if you're on 3.41 now.

Do you need to install some sort of software onto the PS3 if you wanna run pirated games? I thought you only needed to load the game through some USB drive or something like that

There's a huge thread just below this one, mate Basically; 1. Buy the USB modchip. 2. Install Backup Manager 3. Dump the games via BM off your retail disk, or transfer Jailbreak-specific pirated PS3 games to your HDD. 4. Play.

Awwww come on man, there is a whole thread about this...and its on the same page. Check out psx-scene.com to get the 411, who knows, you may just have what it takes to jailbreak your PS3 in your pocket....

My only excuse is that I dont really click into this part of the forum, but thanks for the reply, basically. 3.41 to chip, 3.42 to play online, but cant chip it.. alright!

Aye, it's a USB stick (or you can make your own if you have one of a number of existing devices.. like a Ti-84 calculator, certain Android phones, Dingoo homebrew console, etc etc)
