Pretty much as the topic states, any of you guys in the beta?

I was lucky enough to get in. My friends which are mmorpg junkies hate me for it since I don't play mmorpg's unless they are free.

The game is nice, but I don't think I will be buying it as I don't feel I will be playing it enough to shell out cash each month.

Yeah its really great, i played the open beta not long ago and i have to say it's the best MMORPG ever made, the only thing that puts me off it is the pay to play, but i do understand why they do it, but i dont want to pay too much for a game since i'm a poor student Razz

I am a european and would love to play in the european beta, if you ever get tired of it, i'd love to play in your seat Very Happy

Anyways, I played in the us open beta. It was great. For me, it was the perfect mmorpg Very Happy

If you have bought it, it probably isn't to long before the final beta begins. a couple of weeks at the most. But then again I'm only guessing.

I kind of disliked it. I love Blizzard, and liked how the game was near bug free even in beta. But it was just more of the same, like any other MMORPG just a tad more for casual gamers.

I play too much L2, but this game comes in a close second IMO. So, if you have no life and like living in this make-believe virtual fantasy world - THIS GAME IS FOR YOU!!! Peace,

You're such a cheapskate... the fee is what? Two sixpacks? One night at the movies? A meal for two at the pizzeria? Of which activities you HOW often? And you whine about this fee? Come oon.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

Everything since the golden days of UO has been extremely sub-par to me. Sad

Including WoW.

I was in the US beta, it was neat for a few minutes, nothing I'd pay for though.

I am playing Eu closed beta and I am finding myself very entertained. Haven't been a big fan of these kind of games before but this one is rather fun.

no more wow for us this year:

"Starting with the European Final Beta Test in early January 2005 (...)"

which means we could wait as much as a month before it actually starts, keep in mind: the eu open beta was supposed to start early/mid december...

considering this is the last day of the year, it isn't really an eyeopener.

Dangerous ground there. Especially with the social security number info. Anyhow isn't the Korean beta over?
