OMG Pleaaaase tell me they're doing another porsche game! Porsche Unleashed was one of my favorite racing games of all time... so amazing!
Unfortunately the madden ones are a cutscene.

Well I suppose we could be optimistic, and assume that the cutscenes will be using the advanced in game graphics, but the situation in the picture doesn't seem to probable... unless playback or something... oh well we'll have to wait and see! That would certainly be amazing though, because those people look better than any game I've ever read about, seen or played (Including HL2/Doom 3/ Far Cry Tech Demo)

i second the hopes in a rebirth of need for speed:porsche unleashed. my #1 favorite racing game of all time, and in my eyes at least, one that has never been outdone to date. and also the first pic is most definitely a cutscene...the poly-count on each player would be astronomical, unless they have some revolutionary new LOD technology in the works(i dont think so), it would be impossible for a current or next gen hardware system to render in realtime a field full of players looking like that. also realtime blurring effects like that havent been successfully implemented in any hw to date. so sorry to burst your bubble on that account. however the porsche screen cap could very well be in-game.. very exciting indeed.

The next generation of consoles will be more advanced than todays top of the line pc's, by far.
Afterall, epic have said that their unreal3 is targeted to next generation pc hardware (the cards of today is minimum req) and next generation consoles, this is the exact quote from Tim Sweeney. "Our next version of the Unreal engine is focused on PCs with DirectX 9-compatible adapters as minimum spec, and on next-generation consoles,".

ok next gen consoles might be more powerful than what we have out for PC now, but NOT when they are released. Consoles do come close to PC's at their release... but they will never surpass the PC for gaming.
