Im wondering if all the updates from games and firmware gets stored on the console and not just the latest release. Ive got maybe 10 gigs of demos/games and i have only 6-7 gigs left from my 40 gig disk.
Any solutions to this without getting a bigger disk? Razz

firmware data isn't stored on the hdd, but in the ps3's flash memory
patches would be stored under game data
you can count 3 gigs cause it's actually just a 37gb hdd
and the ps3 uses several gb for "internal use" (whatever that means, probably caching), but it shouldn't amount to the ~20gb you're missing overall

sure you didn't miss anything? (movies etc)
