Question: How do i convert vob's to mpg, avi or any other editable file?

Several ways to do this.
If you're lazy and have time to burn, dvdx should do the job.
If you want the best quality in the shortest possible amount of time,
1. Use DVD2AVI with the "Save Project" function to save the data you need, then
2. Use VFAPI to decode that to AVI
3. Use HeadAC3He to rip the AC3 into a .WAV
finally
4. Combine your AVI with your WAV in VirtualDub and encode all with XViD or DiVX.
