My cat does the same to me all the time and I'm not dead, that's a basic feline reaction when searching for heat or comfort, it probably has nothing to do with any emotional response to the other cat's death.
Not to say that cat's are unemotional, there is actually quite room for discussion here, but this video has nothing to do with what is being interpreted by people.
