Are the first two games connected? Does the first one conclude where the second one begins? Or something like that. Will the third instalment be in any way (in reference to story mostly) bound with the last two games? Or is it going to be a separate experience?
P.S. Have never played the fable series...

they are only set in the same world (albion)...fable 1 and 2 had no connections whatsoever, so part 3 probably won't have any either

Ironically, the PC version would have been hell of a lot better. Wink

You play as the son/daughter of the character from Fable 2. X360 saves from Fable 2 will have some impact on Fable 3 but it will probably be something minor.

The game is more of an adventure now, and not an RPG since there are no exp points, levels and several other classic RPG elements.
In the first half of the game you're making your way to be king or queen of Albion and the other half you actually ARE...and then you...do...stuff...we don't know anything other than that.

There are some developer diaries on lionhead which show some gameplay and a few interviews with Peter Molyneux from which we know stuff like there'll be no HUD, that the weapons transform if you're good/bad, you grow wings (lol), no leveling, exp points and shit like that...

Games on Demand for Windows is scheduled for the 15th of December....so that's something.

You are wrong. Fable II took 500 years after Fable I and you play the blood relative of the first games hero. Fable III takes place 50 years after Fable II and you play the child of the second games hero and on Xbox atleast you can use Fable II save to take something from there onto Fable III. Also there was hints of Fable I in Fable II all the time so they are all tied somehow.

Yeah major connection there. Rolling Eyes

What bushwacka probably meant was that you can easily play Fable II without ever even touching the first game - it's not a direct continuation like for example Mass Effect 1 => Mass Effect 2.

So are you saying we're going to play a 50 years old character? Nice!

That's exactly how I played Fable 2, and I didn't feel in any way as if I had missed out on anything in the first game.

What if someone created an Animus-type device in the Fable universe and in Fable 10 (now an Action-adventure with RPG elements) they want to go back in time to restore memories? Laughing

So.. You're just an average Joe in a non RPG hack and slash..ad you're put into the animus and realize there is so much more!.

You kill this wizard guy and the dude who killed your sister . ... why can't you level up? You hear the faint cry of something called Dollars and Pounds in the background..but you've no idea what it means.. but you will find out.

// Heard from a friend they will be removing the majority of the RPG elements from the game..excuse my ignorance if wrong as I have no source.

Eh? It had better RPG elements than the first part. The first part wasn't anything special, while Fable 2 was entertaining.
