VCDQ may only have weeks to live (updated)

Over the last few months you've probably noticed our various efforts to get the site to cover it's own costs. We tried gambling promotions, we tried banner ads we've tried prostituting ourselves but frankly... VCDQs patrons are a little hard to part with their money Wink

Now we've reached a critical mass and without your help VCDQ may not last much longer. With this in mind, here is our plea, we cannot continue to fund the site out of our own pockets... We need your help.

When we look at the traffic and do the maths we realise all it would take is for a people who regularly visit the site and find it a useful resource to donate $1 occasionally and we'd be rosy - at least for a while.

So we're asking you check those inactive Paypal accounts, mug an old lady or look down the back of the sofa and to spare a Dollar/Euro/Pound/Groat or whatever you can to keep VCDQ going and in return we'll continue to bring you the latest releases in a nice, neat, easy to navigate website.

If you can help, please click the "Support us" link or click here: http://www.vcdq.com/donate

P.S. The PayPal donate link was directing people to the Swedish Paypal landing page, this has now been fixed but if you still get it there's a language option at the top-right. Thanks.

15k a year my bollock

anyway, I agree with Chiv, it used to be a handy site, but (especially since the re-design) it looks like shit and has about as much use as a shit-stained butt plug.

There is no other site like VCDQ that gives you release names for MOVIES (NOT TV) and a discussion forum for each release. SHow me a link to another equivalent site and Ill be happy. Until then, I hope VCDQ stays around as it is very useful.

eh i just check release forums for my 'info', then discuss here. vcdq isnt updated regularly enough with enough content to be useful to me anymore. im usually downloading something BEFORE vcdq 'alerts me' to its existence... hence... useless to me now.

USED to be great though...
