Just some tips that maybe some might find useful. Add some if you have some.
And don't go "lol everyone knows that" - no, not everyone does.
DO NOT use Imageshack, ever.
Use Imgur instead. Faster (both uploading, usage and actually displaying the image when you post it). Has no captcha (lunlike Tinypic which does if you're not registered and signed in), can upload multiple images etc.
DO NOT use Rapidsare, Megaupload, Filefront, 4shared etc.
Use Mediafire instead. No wait times, ever. No registration needed. Can download multiple files. Always free.
If you use Firefox (and this probably works on other browsers aswell), you never have to type ".com" for websites that aren't unknown, tiny websites. Example, just type Imgur in the address-bar, and nothing else. Hit enter, and you're there.
Also, you never have to GO to Google to google-search. Just type it directly into the address-bar, and it will automatically search Google for it and give you the results page.
When using many tabs, use ctrl+tab to switch tab to the right (most of you know this), but you can also switch to the left by pressing ctrl+shift+tab (I've found this to be less known for some reason).
Ctrl+Shift+T opens the last closed tab, keep pressing to open more recently closed tabs.

TinyPic has no captcha lolwat?
Does Imgur support proper album management inc. tagging, sorting, etc?
Mediafire doesn't allow password protected archives, and when a file is reported, it is removed immediately. It's good for legit stuff, but not really for "stuff".

Well I formulated myself wrong, but what I meant is that Imgur does NOT have captcha, UNLIKE Tinypic

Don't know actually, never had to use those features.

Hm, well I often download mp3's/albums at work through MF, so it does work for "stuff", but probably not for bigger things. But my tip was for legit stuff anyway

I think I know why - because you are uploading from the homepage as opposed to "Your Stuff". Go to "Your Stuff" (I have a bookmark so it always shows that first) and upload from there.

TinyPic's captcha doesn't work It's broken.. it says "type ILLUSIVE GIANT" and you can type "1245" and it works.. lol. |
