Looks nice, but I'm afraid the story is 100% predictable. I don't think it will have a shocking M-Night-Shyamalanish ending.

"Guillermo del Toro
presents"

Rolling Eyes

This is such a stupid gimmick to lure people in, and what is even dumber is that people fall for it. They see the name on the poster and drool... Embarassed

Any way, trailer looks generic, let's hope for better. Smile

sometimes what it means is that the presenter paid a shitload and let the movie get a release whilst otherwise it wouldn't

it is a gimmick for names like tarantino

lol so theres a diff between being a sellout and trying to tell people what good movies arr ala taranfagino and supporting a movie in your home genre ala fincher , jonze, torro and jackson

How is District 9 anything in the genre of Peter Jackson? Because it has CGI characters? Laughing Or all the "Tim Burton presents" poops...

Del Toro had very little to do with this, he is just there for the name credit.

Nigga please! Burton created the idea, took care of the project for years while negotiating with Disney, wrote the songs with Elfman etc. etc. etc. Selick was directing only because Burton didn't have time for it. But it's his child and he can take as much credit as he wants.

And he hasn't touched Coraline in any way, btw.

Ok let's bring up Neil Gaiman then. No one knows Stardust and Coraline are awesome books and not just some good Hollywood shit.

Isnt Vincenzo Natali the guy that made Cube? That movie was great so maybe this one won't be crap either. Plus it has a nice cast.

Just watched this. Its pretty good if you're a sci-fi fan, definitely worth a watch.

Same director made the Cube, but Cube is a much more memorable experience so don't let that increase your expectations.
