Completely redesigned the Office/Man cave - added a 120 inch screen for my projector. I'm very proud of this round of renovation Wink

Well the orange lights (hopefully) go off when needed. Tho the candle is pretty unforgivable, girly stuff like that has no place in a proper man cave. Razz

ok so the total cost, who knows ...
projector im using is optoma hd20 1080p

http://www.amazon.com/Optoma-HD20-Definition-Theater-Projector/dp/B002G0CWSU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1274992245&sr=8-1

im just waiting for a decent 3d 1080p projector to get before WC because i just got the 3d update on my cable box from directv

about swiches yea there is a central controller for all the lights and they can be also dimmed separately

- now my next project is to make my projector screen smooth as glass (a friend just explained to me how to do this and then repaint it again with imax polarized grey paint) now its painted directly on the wall and it looks great, but i know it can be even better Smile

yea I managed to connect Vestax VCI100 controller (with firmware updates and all) NI Kontrol X1, NI Audio2 sound card and Traktor Pro - so even with two separate controllers it works amazing. VCI is great for basic mixing controls but x1 is just amazing for effects, looping live remixing etc ...
Now I am thinking about getting a good MIDI keyboard because I started playing with Cubase and like it very much Smile

deelix - u talking about the green room picture? yea like I said it was 2004 ... I was just starting, look at the cabling hahahaha

in the new room I tubed everything, there are almost no visible cables left Wink

i m using a small master keyboard with cubase. Only 25 keys, but it does not take up much space compared to a full fledged one. For mixing i use a frontier alphatrack. Also nice because of being small. Maybe i should also take pics Very Happy

Dude, is that a 2nd generation Dell XPS? I used to have one back in 2002! Had a nice long run on that thing, I finally got rid of it in '06.

adastar on the other side of the room under the projector there is a big couch so its totally far enough (this was the major factor in the last remodel since the original setting got me only a 69 inch screen size) now iths 120 inches and distance from the couch is perfect Smile

tw1st - yes! I still have it somewhere in my storage (at least whats left of it) but that pc served me well for a while!
