To be honest the Mario games never got me hooked (please don't stone me Very Happy )
Most arcade games actually I found boring and in case I liked them (like Galaga or Donkey Kong) I was always pretty bad Neutral
Hmm Galaga was not really an arcade game I think.

yes yes...I know Giana Sisters is a clone - but it's still much much better.

This 100x over. It was the most blatant of clones, so gameplay is practically identical .. but what sets TGGS above the original Mario is the soundtrack! Epic stuff!

Aye, I've played it and it's great! Still doesn't QUITE have the classic charm of the C64 one, but it is great fun =)

I love all the C64 composers, they were awesome. Ben Dalglish, Chris Hulsbeck, Rob Hubbard, Chris Butler, Martin Galway, Tim Follin and Jeroen Tel ... the greats Very Happy

That and the eponymous Amiga fatal crash (which actually originated from a GAME! A game where the object was to "meditate" on a board and any movement of any kind caused it to display that error, a throw-back to the annoyance of the developers over the many crashes on the Amiga. lulz)
