Xbots spend more $$$ on valuable DLC like the Stimulus package and Conviction DLC. Prove to me that the PS3 crowd is equally bad (I doubt they are), and I'll make one.
I like both pc and consoles. Theres good games on both platforms. Some genres are better suited to a mouse and keyboard setup whereas others are better played with a controller so for me it makes sense to game on both depending on the type of game.
If a calculator could play games I would probably game on that too!. games,games,games...

Match making is a byproduct of Xbots Live. Why host servers when you can throw it all to silly users. This also substantially lowers lifespan of a game. No servers - no need to care for that game after initial release. Otherwise, they have to maintain servers, fix bugs, etc - too much, they are already working on the sequel which is a part of a trilogy in a franchise of over 9000 trilogies
Another byproduct of Xbots - no modding, because idiot kiddies shell cash for nothing (aka DLC) and why support modding anyway? It will interfere with the sequel (and the one after that) if people are happy with the first one.
Yes and that is why I dislike Microsoft.
They make some great products with Visual studio and some fantastic api's and languages to work with, but they have their console division and that really ruins a lot of what could've been good pc games.
matchmaking is a byproduct to allow northamericans a decent online experience

patching/bugs/instant fixes came from the pc world into the console world
pc games are rushed and then patched on day one
pc devs are sloppy
you have a handful of honest good pc devs

all the flaws and faults you see in gaming aren't because of xbox and ps3 or 360 or ps2
its cause of publisher demanding more for less
if devs had control dlcs wouldnt exist
modding would exist in consoles
but why give gamers something for free?

PC, it's just more comfortable for me. I can easily tab out, browse web, tab back into the game. Also there are some really neat gaming oriented messaging apps (xfire and such) So I can easily chat with people while gaming. Also, I enjoy mouse + kb more than a controller. (Some exceptions of course, but I'm talking about my overall preferences)
Though there are also a lot of downsides to PC gaming - It's more expensive, often there are compatibility issues and DRM bullshit, etc, etc.
I might have never bought a console if those EA fags had decided to actually port the x360 NHL games over to PC instead of giving us an uber shit version
I don't really game as much as I used to anyways, and I don't really play online anymore (granted I don't like playing for xbox live and I don't like the retards using it).
