Yes I copied his solution so fucking what?
Maybe we coded it together? But no, nobody asks you anything informs you of anything.
You just get a message like that when checking your points.
I just love it. Seeing as the proof-reader is a freaking student himself so he should know that once in a while you copy shit and that once in a while you just don't have the freaking time to do shit yourself but, of course, you need the points from the homework assignment because in the end you want to be allowed to write the freaking exam.
So cut me some fucking slack you bone headed, over entusiastic, motherfucking idiot!
As if he never copied the solutions of another student. Show me one freaking university student who has never done that.
Btw. what gets even better, the week before I had an other proof reader (so did the guy I copied the program from) but once I copy something BAM! we suddenly got the same proof-reader.
Universe? Why do you hate me so much? :/
Granted, it's only 3 points (then again of 90 possible so far and i got 61)
Percentage for admission to the exam is 70% so I'm anyway already.
Damn this semester is going to shits faster than a fat guy can guzzle a chocolate cake.
Fuck, that felt good.
I'm better now.
(btw. it was a program written in assembly language).

It's uni, not highschool. If you're careless enough to simply copy someone else's work, you're fooked. Whether the proofreader in this case did it too in the past is irrelevant.

I didn't want to bitch about copying it and then being called on it.
Though that's what I did. O.o
My intention was to bitch about me being stupid enough and copy the work of somebody else instead of doing it myself.
That and the fact that nobody tells you. You look up your points see it's zero and have to ask the guy why. If you're accusing me (doesn't matter if it's rightfully) of copying work at least fucking tell me. Or is that too much to ask?

Unless it's a very small uni, you're nothing more than "some guy". No one gives a shit really since you're an adult now, apparently that means "we don't give a fuck about you anymore". Many of my teachers won't even take the time to respond to mails if you don't write them in the most fucking formal way possible. Uptight bastards :/

when i did exams in either maths or comp engineering
i always cheated
i just changed the lil vars that can always be changed
cheating in programmin is eaaasy
getting caught copying word for word is lame
everyone knows if youre cheating you must get some questions wrong!

Wrote a long long email to the proof reader telling him it's all my fault the guy didn't know about it bla bla bla the usual (all of which was true btw.) so I hope he at least considers giving him the points. (Since he's a nice guy and shouldn't be punished for helping others who then in turn do something stupid etc.).
He's a nice guy but he's sort of... whatcha call it... simple? He does know his math and (in parts) his assembly but apart from that he's rather easy in the head department. You know those kinda guys who are good at one or two things and apart from that everything they touch turns to shit? Yep, that's him.
He's not an unforgiving type so I think if I manage to persuade the proof reader to give him the points we're good.
(btw. I actually changed the code quite a bit so I don't know how he got it that I copied it :/ )
edit:
proof reader sent me a mail. The other guy gets his points and with that case closed.
btw. I never ask people for their solution, if I ask at all I ask for an approach to a solution.
Might sound like it but I'm not trying to put the blame on him. I made the mess, I head to clean it up, I have to take the blame. I did.
The proof reader told me there would be no further consequences so I'm done with this.

its fucked up aint it? we are their customers, universities have the worst fucking secretaries and admins etc. People just all around are dicks at in the admin at most universities. They dont give a siht about students any more
