no point doing flash. flash is for rich media interactivity, you want a shop so use joomla, it will be better in the long run.
i work with flash as my job and i can honestly say, the only sites that warrant the use of flash only are the type of sites seen on thefwa.com

Hmm, ok, cool, I'll move in that direction.
If anyone can recommend a good joomla extension, it'd be helpful. I'm having problems finding a good one, especially with good product categorization.
