Did anyone else get this email? I don't submit the email I signed up with newzbin to many places. Anyone have a confirmation if its legit or an ackbar?
Edit: It also seems fairly stupid..as they claim to use the same exact system, and there is now legal precedent for a case against it immediately unless they move it into some other country.

Heh, perhaps the law firm/piracy unit fired up newzbin under the name Newzbin 2 to catch some fish paying for the services to make thousands more settlements and suits.

My thoughts on the matter are kind of mixed. While I'm glad they took matters into their own hands I'm also a bit unnerved at the same time. Don't really think I could trust them with any sort of payment - for all we know it could be a quick scam job - they'll get a few thousand signups for a buck or two and disappear overnight. We'll see.

I did read that they claimed their code had been stolen.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

I know some hackers got a copy of the code that runs newzbin, it happened twice. Nothing officially endorsed yet so i'd stay well clear. maybe nzbmatrix or somthing for the time beign.

NZBmatrix does the job for me at the moment.. but if a legit Newzbin 2 would appear, I'd happilly move over to it..
