How to get the item on the exit of the first level? It's very high on the tree near the broken bridge.

Honestly I have no clue. xD Took me a while to figure out you can pick up items by pressing down.
Game is running very slowly on my laptop. :-/ Braid, on the other hand, works flawlessly.

i've died about 5 times now and i keep replaying the whole first level from the start. where's the first checkpoint? are there checkpoints? this is getting frustrating.

There are no checkpoints during levels afaik. But you can heal yourself by dragging a vitality orb(green) to yourself.

I think there is a reason why there aren't checkpoints in the game: You can visit anytime the level you played and gain experience,take greens you left behind etc...So there is no point for checkpoints as long as you can move freely back and forward.

It's being sold on direct2drive where it states 'This product is not eligible for refunds'. I know I'd be annoyed if I'd wasted money on it.
o 2 game-stopping scripting errors within the first 15 mins.
o tried it on my old system but the game wouldn't even start. The sysreqs should state that you need a processor that supports SSE2 (I assume that's the problem).
The game's ok, I guess, just feels like something designed for an 8bit system

I've been playing it even more .. and I love it! Incredibly detailed, very fun and love the production values. All in all, I'm impressed so far.
