They're all going to be mega grind fests, but some are enjoyable enough to be worth it. Dead Frontier has so much potential, but goddamn the grinding is insane... not grinding for exp or combat, but grinding by "searching" in the world for enough supplies/etc to carry on playing. That was just too much for me, so I stopped playing.
Another grind-tastic, but definitely fun, browser MMO would be Pirate Galaxy. I played this for a while and really enjoyed it.

Tho its more of a duel type - The Witcher: VERSUS , but is pretty nice.
I've tried several browser mmos.. but have not liked any of them (hm, but i've played adventure quest for.. very long time)

Try kingdom of loathing. (www.kingdomofloathing.com)
A friend of mine is deep into this game, most of the player interaction is trading and stuff like that, but apparently in the end game there are also team raids or things like that, never got that far though. The game mechanics are also pretty deep, kept me quite entertained at work for a couple of weeks.
Oh, there is PVP as well, never tried it though.
