I see what you're saying but there is a bit of a difference, I think.
There is a different attitude towards males and females. If a father learns that his son has been out screwing loads of girls, he might feel proud of him. However if a daughter goes out and does the same, I'm pretty sure the same father would be outraged.

Every year that the restraining order is up, the woman goes back to the judge and says "I fear for my life." and the judge extends it over and over, fucking my dad's credibility up and getting that on his record forever.
