So yeah, looking to replace my crt Razz

Basically i need a good monitor that's not too costy

atm there is campaign on DELL U2311H ULTRASHARP 23" WIDE TFT BLACK it's IPS with FULLHD.

It's basically gone down from 500 USD to 315 and i'm really tempted to buy it, is it a good deal?

What other monitors can you recommend, primarily for gaming and watching movies.

Cant say ive heard anything bad abtou Dell monitors.
And the price wasnt that bad either, seems like a good buy, but if you are looking for other monitors there are lots of discussions here on the hardware forum. Just browse and see if you find something you like Very Happy

Get a Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ 22" 120hz LCD

I have one and its absolutely amazing. If not this, get another 120hz LCD monitor. Go with one of the monitors in this list:

Dont get the Dell...
