Set to be released this summer, could be quite good seeing Telltales previous works.
(I'll see what I can do about that template stuff once more info is out about the game.)
EDIT: Might as well start working on it.

Absolutely fucking awesome!
Not only a great adventure game comes back, they even built it on top of the old code so you could press a button and instantly go back to 8bit graphics! Now that's brilliant.
Bummer I just recently replayed it
i wonder if guybrush will kill lechuck in every episode or if they'll add some new villains.
guybrush looks bit weird. on the other hand, some scenes look much more detailed than telltale's previous games. also check out those excellent twisty clouds
Probably old news, but LucasArts is making the remake of their first "The Secret of Monkey Island" game. At first, it was only announced for xbox360 live arcade, but i can see "PC Digital download" as well on their website, so...

Great news this thread. I was very disappointed when they announced Wallace Gromit games, but finally, once again, Telltale is going to make a game that I care about.
This is, of course, insanely awesome, but still, I paused to hope that Telltale manages to get the original Monkey Island humor right. Their new Sam & Max games were great, but very, very different from the original.
I'm not totally crazy about the art, but, I imagine that Monkey Island is a daunting challenge, artistically, as Curse was one of the most beautiful games of all time.
Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.
an awesome and a preview are out. seems telltale finally decided to improve upon the samnmax formula. they're gonna reuse less locations (or possibly even none) and

the episodes are not standalone “tales”, as the title might seem to imply, but actually “chapters” in a greater story.

players will travel to several different islands, without a Sam & Max or Wallace & Gromit-style hub for a comfort zone.

In previous Telltale games, inventory was handled very simply, with only a limited amount of interaction possible once you picked something up. In Tales, you’re finally able to combine inventory items to create new ones,
there's more good news about the game, so click the article.
ok, one last quote.

Though I only saw a fraction of the first episode, I can confirm without hesitation that this is a Monkey Island game. The jokes are Monkey Island jokes. The situations are Monkey Island situations. I laughed more during this demo than I have in any single adventure game (or episode) I’ve played in the last few years.
