First off, I'm really new to RAM timings and clocking - I've so far only owned two PC's before my current one that I've OCd, and I never bothered with the RAM clocks on those.

So forgive me if I sound stupid Wink

As some of you know, I'm now running my i5 750 at 4ghz. And by increasing the multiplier (211 x19) my RAM is running at 2110mhz - and it's fine and stable, but the timings are just terrible. According to CPU-Z, they're 10-15-15-31 :/

I've tried multiple times to just make the RAM run at 1600mhz, which is their standard spec, but it just won't work! I tried setting the BCLK multiplier at 200x20 = 4ghz, and the DRAM multiplier at 8, so resulting in 1600mhz. And that worked - problem is, when that is supposed to result in 4ghz for the CPU, it somehow lands at 4.2 ghz Confused And right now, 4.2 runs a bit too hot for my liking. But I can run the correct RAM clock and timing at that speed (8-8-8-24).

I'm lost over here..

May be you should try defaulting the BIOS settings and try from the start again, setting it the correct way from the start: as in 200x20 and lower the memory speed multiplier...
