When you buy games, you tend to give them more time.
when you download them, you dont care because it hasent cost you £30.
thats my view on it anyways, I only ever seem to complete games that I buy

the only games i played till end was the 3 official ofp campaigns and deus x.
there are many reasons like bored / no time / other new games / too stoned/etc.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater: Beat
Grand Theft Auto San Adreas: Beat
Basically every PC game that has come out so far I beat. I didnt try Total War yet though.
I'm waiting for Punisher and Rainbow Six 4 to come out.

Last game I finished was GTA: San Andreas. By finished I mean I completed the main story, am yet to get 100%. 
Other games I played and not finished:
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
Tales of Symphonia
Pokemon Colleseum (yah, yah )
And currenty attempting to finish:
Armies of Exigo
Knights of the Old Republic 2
Half-Life 2

Deus Ex 2(Finally working good with my new vid card)
PainKiller : Battle out of Hell
Unreal 2 (second time through)
That's about it for the last few months, stopped playing NFSU 2(too boring) and sid meiers Pirates(Too many bugs).
Right now i'm just looking for a good game to finish and playing some HL2 deathmatch...

half life 2 i suppose was the last game ive completed. o o o actually q3a on bring it on  i did that a few days ago. thats about it not much to keep me entertained lately and i dont play console games that much only PES4 on my xbox with my bro.

HL2 was the lastest game I finished and currently im playing Armies of Exigo but its getting repetite... lotr:bfme ís next in line

Nah, I only buy them if I finish them and I only finish the really good ones. If a game holds your attention you can't help but finish it, that's the test. What matters is how good/addictive it is, not how much it didn't cost to download.

i cant say ive ever bought a game which ive completed besides condition zero. add street fighter 2 collectors edition to that list, did it with ken e-honda and chun li this afternnon for the megadrive.

HL2 - played until you get to that alien and guy in the trainyard.
Doom3 - checked for 15 minuted
Sid Meirs Pirates - Played for a couple of days
Full Spectrum Warrior - 1 mission completed
Rome TW - Played for awhile, fun stuff (didnt beat)
Vampire Bloodlines - Installed and had low fps so i didnt play
Yea, Im going to buy battlefield 2 and probably a mmorpg wow maybe.

last game I finished fully was mafia, unreal 2 I got to the last mission then got bored, looks like Half life 2 I may still finish, just out of highway 17; i would have finished rome total war if i wasnt so busy when it came out still played a good 2 weeks, thats about it...oh and yes, nfsu i got to race no 87, couldnt beat the next race and so gave it up, same with MC2, gave it up after losing the 3rd race in Tokyo

i have a major problem when it comes to actually finishing games. i buy/download loads, try them all, play some half way through, rarely finish any. i noticed this problem lately, and to get myself motivated actually made a list of all the games i have that i'd like to play thoroughly.
well its an A4 sheet full, 2 columns in 12pt, thats PC, PS2, Xbox, Cube and GBA. i can't remember the last game i finished, but heres what im working on at the moment:
Doom 3 (played to halfway over the summer, got bored, now got a new graphics card so going to finish it)
Half-Life 2 (got it but was waiting for new graphics card to actually start playing)
Thief: Deadly Shadows (after playing the first 2 over the summer)
Warhammer: Dawn of War
GTA: San Andreas
Metroid Prime 2
Resident Evil Zero
Zelda: The Minish Cap (almost finished)
looking at my list, i've got an incredible number of RPGs to play that i know are huge (Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights etc)
they should stop releasing games for a year or to, give me a chance to catch up

I have finished more PS2 games than PC games recently. An yes, when yóu download games you tend to not play them all the way through directly if it's not fun enough, since maybe another better just came out.
But recent finsihed games are HL2 (which really was a pleasure to play) and just a few hours ago finished Ratchet & Clank: Up your Arsenal for PS2 (another very enjoyable game).

I play most games to the end. Even if I'm not liking it, I can't let it beat me.

I loose interest in games very quickly. I mostly beat them/play them when the young one wants to watch me play. And since everyday the little one wants to watch me play the 'computer' I'm forced to beat games very fast  He loved hl2. Cause it was ‘cool’ – “how did you get that gun” was said in relation to the grav gun and then after I used the grav gun “O.O” face was formed. Diluted pupils and thick drool streamed down his face. It was cool...
But Riddick I’m forced to play alone cause of all the vulgarity. I don’t think I’ll finish it
