Short story.
I was hungry, made me some soup, didn't wait long enough for it to cool down.
Burnt my tongue. Now it hurts and feels like sandpaper. :/

I had the same accident yesterday, only I burned my palate... Hate when things like that happen -.-

I hate burnt tongue!  Usually happens when I prepare something I REALLY REALLY like, and then burn my tongue on the first bite, which means I can't enjoy the food anymore because all taste is numb after that!

Allmost same thing happened to me yesterday.... I was eating something with molten cheese in it. I took a bite and all the cheese burnt a way down my lip and chin... ffs
I never have the patience to wait for my food to cool down 
Empty again

The proved remedy to avoid a burnt tongue is to cook dishes so distasteful and tacky that the will to actually taste them is naturally and unconsciously suppressed  |
