Right. I've had this computer for a bit over a year, and it's been running just fine. Haven't had to reinstall Windows or anything.
Now, suddenly, something's happened. About two days ago, I left my computer on when I went to bed. When I woke up, I noticed that the computer had somehow turned off. I open the case, and see that the motherboard's light is on, and even one of the fans is running, so it wasn't a lack of power that turned it off. However, the darn thing wouldn't start back up. I unplugged it and put it down on the kitchen table. I plug it in, and it starts without a problem. Great, I think, and I bring the computer back and proceed to have it running for about 24 hours.
Then, when I turned it off for the night, something must've happened. The computer would refuse to start back up, but the light was on and the same fan was running. I unplugged it and let the remaining power go out. After I plug it back in, it starts up fine. For about 10 minutes. It crashes again, with the light and fan still running.
It now does this every time I start the computer. Have it running in safemode now, going to see how long it will last.
Anyone know what the issue could be?
Edit: It could be a overheating issue. How would I go about checking the temperature of my CPU?
Edit2: I installed Everest, but sadly it doesn't read my CPU temp properly (all the cores just say 0 degrees).
