How far can you go with a standard H55 Mainboard (Asrock, Biostar whatever), 4GB DDR3-1333 RAM (9-9-9-24) and 530 W power supply?
And how far can you overclock it with a better Mainboard (which one?not more than 90€), 4GB DDR3-1600 (8-8-8-24) and 600 W power supply? (~20€ more for mainboard, ~20€ more for ram and ~5€ more for power supply.. so 45€ difference! Worth it?)

Come on guys, all of you overclocked your i5's to 4ghz I just don't want to spend more on making it "overclockable" than getting better hardware for the money

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Intel LOCK the H55 so that it can't overclock much? :\

Ok, finally built my i5 750 system. Getting a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 this weekend. Won't bother overclocking with the stock crap. Just tried OCCT and all the cores jumped from 37C to 80C after 1 minute and 49 seconds of 99.76% stress on all cores.
