Hello

I just bought DII:ED cd-key and download reloaded version of this game but there is no place/window where I can put it.

That why would like to ask if original copy of DII:ED use any cd-key on time You install it or not as on version I have there is no window that ask for it.

Thanks

I don't ever recall the game asking me for a cd-key either, come to think of it.

You need the digital download edition as it has a few extra files such as lang.ini and paul.dll, Reloaded is based on the disc edition and as far as I know 1.3 is cracked as well and fully functional.

I'll see if I can't find them but it might be difficult.

EDIT: No go with that, it might be a Steam key as well though I would guess it's a SecuROM activation key.

EDIT: To clarify further online editions of the game use SecuROM as well but the activation based system and there's probably where the key is meant to be used.

i buy it on g2play.net

and just saw "Original Retail CD Key: This product might show ideal for gamers with the original CD/DVD of the game but there CD-KEY was banned, stolen etc. Please note that the publisher of the game might not support direct digital download of the game from its website / servers. The CD-Key provided by G2PLAY comes from original package of the game and you will be the first owner of this CD-Key and enables you to play on the official multiplayer servers of the game. "

LOLWUT...... definitely a scam. There's no MP in Divinity 2 Laughing There's no cd-key protection whatsoever on the game, it's a SecuROM protected product without a MP element. So either the key is for unlocking a TryMedia copy (if one even exists), or G2Play scammed the shit out of you :\
