p2p aint all bad, especially emule, you just gotta make sure you get the right files

for example, when this Bleem copy of BFME became available a few months ago, on 2 CDs (when the game is being released on DVD) it looked too good to be true, which of course it was.

just in case it isnt obvious its lucky some fool downloaded it and was kind enough to report by making a text document to tell us its a fake, that you'll see when searching for 'Battle For Middle Earth Bleem'

just stick with the Hoodlum release, it works fine (really good game by the way). havent seen it on emule though, only 2 disks out of the 4 of the cloned release

yeh i find that in general p2p sucks. but emule seems to work really well for me once i've tweaked the settings. i've got a 512k connection, and its often maxed out, depending on the availability of files. obviously its not as reliable as other methods...

and my point about the cloned BFME on emule was that only 2 out of 4 disks are available so thats pretty useless i'm sure the rest will turn up, and if they do all you need is those and the hoodlum crack (available on its own) and its done.

so stuff is available on p2p, just... yeh it sucks. takes too long to get the releases, too long to download, too much of a pain to get set up to download quicker
