when kickstarter starts allowing paypal as a pledging method i'd finally start supporting some titles Sad
however i have no doubt this will easily reach its goal.

Now I gotta tell mum about it and she loves the previous ones even more than me. Pretty sure that conversation will be something along the lines of "Hey mum, they're making another Broken Swo.." -> "WHERE DO I GET IT?! DO WANT!" Laughing

i was glued to the screen, and few days later my retard ass backwards parents said they brought the devil into the house when they bought the pentium 2 beast. the gullible nubs fell for the old "i need the PC for school bluff"

Hahahah yeah I'm playing it right now, really enjoyable. I'm liking it more with french voice-over but will most likely change to English for the second and third game. Got that trilogy from Steam during the summer sale. I hope they add the fourth game (from 2006) to Steam soon.

I'll be backing this on kickstarter as well.

It's been a whole day and it hasn't even reached a million... It's doomed to fail Sad

I haven't even got around to playing the originals yet since this cruel world just keeps throwing more games at me. Now they are also pressuring me to finish them in 28 days Mad

Broken Sword 5 is doing fine on Kickstarter, so far. They've asked for 400k and they've already have a little over 200k and still 27 days to go.

Just in case you are wondering...

Almost seemed to have stalled somewhat after the 360k mark, but now it's nearly there with 397k. Would be funny if they just got stuck at 399 999 Smile
Still more than a half of the allotted time to go though, so it should be a done deal.

I am thinking of going for the 50$ package to get the previous games as well.

Edit: Also you apparently can now get an Android version as well, if you go for $25+

Can't wait - love this series so much... "more beer over here!"

One of very very few games that delivered emotional attachement to characters...

I didn't like any of their games past the first two, and I haven't been following this one much, I'm just wondering what is that 2.5d look they are talking about? Regular 3d characters on cg backgrounds or something else?
