"Wulverblade" is a visceral, cinematic, side scrolling beatem-up, bringing a modern twist to the classic gameplay style of the 1990's arcade scene. There's no hand holding in "Wulverblade", it's straight into the action, old-school style. "Wulverblade" skips the starter and tucks straight into the meat!

can you expand on that ???
As the reviews are overall very possitive and mostly say its one of the bests beatemups in recent years .
Also what the "plays like mobile" and "looks like mobile" means to you as recently i have seen people shouting mobile/flash to pretty much everything with clean "flash"-esque artstyle like Castle Crashers

What I mean is why the hell play it on consoles/PC if the game is 100% mobile.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
Aight, maybe I'm just getting too old lol. What I mean is: why waste time in front of your TV playing a totally 100% mobile game even if it's 1080p..? Why not leave it for Switch and Iphone/Android and play it on the go?

that depends on a person i guess ... for example i am fine playing games like Reigns on the phone but i cant do the Square jrpgs there or fo example swords and sandals series

Ah, I see. For me it mostly comes to time investment. The less time to play I have the more I try to spend it on something truly great. If I can play something on the go (mobile, Switch, Win10 tablet + BT controller) I'll never touch it on big screen.
'100% mobile' - large flash-llike non-detailed graphics, uber simple animations, uber simple controls. I don't say all above is bad it's just not suited for big screen.
Still there are games like Darkest Dungeon or even Guns Gore and Cannolli that are fine on big screen and even benefit from it.

oh thx I understand now
- for me I lately found out myself that i dont really enjoy all the big bombastic well-received AAAs as as i used to , beacuse they all felt way too samey and basically went full in into indies where the originality lies and with that i opened myself to genres, arts, games i despised before
.... as for the time investment ... i have ton of shit of different genres on steam so i more often than not pick by the mood i am at (like when i am angry Musou, when exhausted some telltaleadventure or when fine something strategic) , sure quality is also the thing , i am just not limited as i used to be
... as for the big screen vs small screen , i dont really care and with GPD win basically depends on where or not i am seated or lying
.. with the mobile thing (phone, tablet, PSV, GPDWin) for me its basically "one the go" or "in bet" kind of play. So for i dont really care about what the "non-detailed graphics, uber simple animations, uber simple controls" are ,but its more of a "time required and effort needed" kind of deal ... so for mobile i mostly pick turnbased, simple or no story or roguelikes with short runs .... as with my "on the road/in the bed" usage its fastly done, you can stop anytime and dont rrquire too much effort to play
=> so this Wulverblade game doesnt really fit the "mobile" bill for me as its action beat'em'up which requires bunch of effort
As for this game itself, i guess i just love the medieval britannia setting and its been long time since i play great beat'em'up ... and because its well received i have high hopes ... for the graphic it looks fine .. wouldnt even say its "non-detailed" as it looks much more detailed than Gujn Gore Canoli you mentioned , its definetly not Castle crashers so thats fine by me ... only thing thats weirding me out artswise is how close the fighters are to the screen
Think "Viking themed Double Dragon". A lot of love went into this game. The art/narration/voice-work are top notch. Between stages in the campaign they've also included narrated history lesson videos of the real life locales they used for inspiration.
It plays great with mouse and keyboard (although, given the genre, a controller would probably still feel better). I'm on the third stage, and having a fucking blast. Definitely worth a try if you're hungry for a beat'em'up.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I mean, I set it up to 4k and when I start the game it goes back to 1440p, then I get ultra lags and fps drops to like 23 and then goes back up to 140 and back down..just by walking on the first screen loll!!
Whats up with that ?? Should I go SLI ?
***Nevermind, I rebooted and now it's fine. Also updated drivers.
