|
 |
In order to get some of the latest games to run using the Evox dashboard, I have to boot my modchip with the disc already in the drive. For some reason some games won't boot from Evox. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is a good example. I have an Aladdin Advance modchip. Anyone come across this? Is it related to the dashboard, modchip or something else? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

yeah I am the Typo king :clown:
I use Avalaunch
Yeah I have seen that site before.
Loads of people rate UnleashX, but (and granted i used an early build) I had problems with it so I reverted back to Avalaunch....
It really comes down to what you need, if you just want a basic launcher then why change from evox really.
I would disable all in game resets and TSr in the evox settings and then you shouldnt have a problems.
Evox's IGR is known to cause problems with soem games

In Game reset
Its in the settings (around 3 places if I remember corectly) but i think the latest version of evox only has it in one place.
But thats where it is...
You need to make sure Ingame reset and TSR are disabled and then yuo shouldnt (hopefully) have any problems.

I would think those are all disabled by default and I haven't changed any of the settings in Evox lately. Also the problem I have doesnt occur with every game.
TSR = Teminate and Stay Resident?

Depends from where you got evox from.. on the disabled by deafult.
I have had 2 builds from diffrent places (cant remember what from where) one had it disabled one didnt.. so its worth checking anyways
and year thats the TSR if I recall... its been a while since I ran evox.
