Right Click My computer and goto properties then goto Automatic Updates... does it say "DECLINED UPDATES"

is this because I have a naughty version of XP ?? Razz

My windows update works fine. You should not use the standard xp key. Use a keygenned one instead. The standard ones will always get blocked.
