Ok so i bought an xbox arcade, then a 60gb hdd. When i attach the bloddy HDD, Halo 3 wont even let me start the campaign (disc read error) and virtual fighter 5 will give the same error every half hour. If i remove the HDD, everything works. What gives ?
From microsoft support :
1. Turn off your console.
2. Remove the hard drive.
3. Turn on your console.
4. Try to play a game disc.
If this resolves the problem, reattach the hard drive and contact Xbox Support to order a replacement hard drive.
But, after more searching i find out that many users have had problems with halo 3 giving that error. So my question is. Whats faulty ? The HDD, the game or the console ?
What to do ?
