Anyone play this?

friend of mine had it on his game shelf and about shit myself cause it was by black isle and I'd not heard of it, got it installing now

It kinda blows, second half of the game is boiling down to killing zillions of monsters and since it ain't no diablo or dungeon siege in mechanics, you get the idea.

I completely forgot about this one until I saw this thread.
It was a disappointing game, Black Isle put their name on the box but they didn't develop it.

Awesome idea, not that fun to play though. I got maybe 1/4 way through though, so maybe its worth playing for the story? I dunno.

PS: Black Isle didn't develop it.

Yeah, started out with a great story, very atmospheric, then had zero story.


Epsilon: Game is great btw, I love it, so far it's a definite goty. It's remarkable how much has changed since the beta, stardock have been working their asses off, and it shows.

The gameplay's pretty crap really, but it can be interesting for a while as a curiosity - it uses the SPECIAL ruleset, for example.

One mans garbage is another mans gold, the 'golden' shouldn't be taken that seriously. and yes anything thats over 5 years old around here is old.
